Cef DP Tablets contain cefpodoxime proxetil a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is effective against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Cefpodoxime long half-life allows for once-daily dosing, which can result in increased compliance and better clinical outcomes. It is effective in treating skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in dogs.
