Phexil Tablets contain cephalexin a first-generation cephalosporin. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, soft tissue/ skin, and urinary tract.
Composition :
- Cephalexin 300mg/ 600mg
Indications/Uses:
- Treat pyoderma and other bacterial skin infections in dogs and is used off-label or extra-label in cats.
- Skin, ear, soft tissue, and urinary tract infections as well as respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis.
- Used for the treatment of superficial pyoderma caused by Staphylococcus pseudointermedius. It suppresses the growth of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi or protozoa.

Therapeutic use : Antibiotics
Directions/ Dose :
- 22 mg/kg of body weight twice daily for 28 days.
