Pantopet Tablets 10 Tabs
PANTOPET Tablets contain pantoprazole which is a PPI that suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by covalently binding to the (H+, K+)-ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. This effect leads to inhibition of both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion, irrespective of the stimulus.
Composition :
- Pantoprazole: 20mg/40mg
Indications/Uses:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). For GERD condition it is recommended for 7 to 10 days.
- It is used as a supportive drug along with antibiotics, antifungal and pain killer drugs to reduce acid secretions.
- Used to prevent and treat stomach ulcers and gastric acid related diseases in dogs and cats.
- Gastric and Duodenal Ulcers.
