Butalex Injection 20ML
Butalex is highly effective in the treatment of Theileriosis (East Cost fever, Corridor Disease, tropical theileriosis, etc.) in cattle, caused by strains of Theileria parva parva, T. parva bovis, T. parva lawrencei, T. annulata, T. mutans and T. orientalis.
Target Species : Large Animals
Composition : Each 1ml contains Buparvaquone(50mg)
Therapeutic use : Anti-infectives
Dose : The recommended dose is(2.5 mg) buparvaquone per kg body weight (corresponding
to1 ml Butalex per(20kg) , body weight) by intramuscular route in the deep neck muscle. If
the dose volume exceeds(10ml) , the dose should be divided and administered to
different sites. Generally, one dose is sufficient for the treatment. In heavy cases, a
second treatment (at the same dose) may be required 48-72 hours after the first dosing.
